I was born and raised here in South Weber, Utah. After graduating from Northridge High School, I went on to Dixie State College where I played volleyball for a year, and was a sponsored skim boarder for 2 years. I graduated summa cum laude at Weber State with a BFA and a teaching certificate in Spring 2014 with awards in both art and education.
I have way too many interests and hobbies that take up all of my spare time, including climbing, volleyball, snowboarding, skim boarding, yoga, backpacking, traveling, etc. This is why I am so grateful to start a career in my favorite one. I have had a love for art and learning since I can remember, so teaching was the only career that made sense for me. I love the subject of art, because it gives me the option to teach so many other subjects as well; culture, politics, philosophy, ethics, history, science, and even math. I am very excited to share my love for art, fun, and learning with my students.
